My name is Bodo Schneider, I was born in 1960, and have lived all my life in
Hagenow,
a small city in west Mecklenburg (Loc: JO53OK). Since childhood I
have been fascinated by everything to do with electricity, so I taught
myself electronics. After a while, I discovered amateur radio, first as a
SWL, using homebrew receivers. In 1990 I joined the DARC (German amateur
radio club) and the local club,
Ortsverband Hagenow V19 . In 1993 I passed the amateur
radio examination and was issued the callsign DG2SUJ. After passing the
morse test in 2001 I gained my class 1 licence with the callsign DL4CU.
Here is my QSL card.
Our amateur radio club in Hagenow has 9 members
and belongs to the district Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Although our club is relatively small, we nevertheless have numerous activities.
Our club call is DL0HGN.
